About the Trainer

Mike Ramer, CPC, CSP, is president of Ramer Search Consultants in the New York/New Jersey area.  A working manager with his pulse on the market, Mike’s personal career billings exceeds $3.5 million.  He graduated with a Masters degree in international economics and began his career in Chase Manhattan Bank’s management program in New York City.  He made a career move to the advertising firm Ogilvy & Mather and then left the corporate world in the early 90’s for a career in recruiting.  Through the ’90’s, he partnered in building a full service firm (recruitment and temp) to 12+ staff. 

Mike designed The Art of Search © training programs, which he presents at industry events and recruiting firms nationwide.  He has trained at NAPS and ASA conferences as well as 40+ industry events and teleconferences across the U.S. and Canada.  Mike has written articles for leading industry publications, The Fordyce Letter, Recruiter.com and NewsForRecruiters.com, in addition to distributing his The Art of Search © e-letter to 3,500+ worldwide.
